Position: RN Supervisor, Evening Shift

Required Qualifications:
Nursing degree/diploma (RN) from an accredited college, university, or nursing institution.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
At least one (3) year of experience in nursing management as an RN.
Current CPR certification.
Must meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against your professional license.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and direct nursing services for residents, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will serve not only as a leader but also as a mentor, guiding and supporting your team through challenges and fostering a positive, professional work environment.
Be a calm, reassuring presence for both staff and residents, offering guidance and support when needed, especially in critical moments. Your ability to listen and provide a steady, empathetic voice will be invaluable to both your team and the families of our residents.
Address complaints and grievances filed by staff and escalate as needed to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are maintained to meet the needs of residents and promptly communicate any shortages to the appropriate staff.
Assist in the development of comprehensive assessments of each resident’s nursing needs and ensure they are met with compassion and care.
Oversee and ensure nursing/aide assignments are completed efficiently and in accordance with the highest standards of care.
Encourage and support staff in their professional development by promoting training programs and continuous learning.
Review nursing documentation to ensure it is detailed, accurate, and reflective of the care provided, always prioritizing the resident's preferences and needs.
Support the nursing staff during the admission of new patients, ensuring a smooth and compassionate transition for all involved.
